Motivations of the jury
With her photos, the author expressed both the classical and the contemporary – we could even say that she captured the necessity of coffee as a place of the mind –, through a certain fullness in the frame control. The bar’s furniture and customers’ manners allude to intimacy, complicity and dialogue: all cultural values linked to coffee history.
