The Coffee Project
A trip shared on Instagram that began in 2015 and ended last April. In each of the bars/restaurants/shops I went to while wandering around Italy I took a photo of the coffee cup. The frame was always the same way, while everything else was different and defines uniqueness: place, brand, position of the teaspoon, cup shape, colours of the counter and other featuring elements that were in the picture by chance.
Motivations of the jury
Strongly linked to current language and communication techniques, the work expresses a narrative project using a serial approach and a pop and spontaneous aesthetic. With immediate impact, it draws attention to an interplay of details, colors and different patterns.
