Laura Serani is an editor and author, who cooperates with institutions, festivals and publishing houses on an international level. Since 2015, she has been president of the panel of judges for photography at Fondation Les Treilles in Paris. She has also been an artist representative of the Mois de la Photo in Paris, artistic director of the Rencontres de Bamako, the African biennial of photography, and editor for the Fotografia Europea exhibition in Reggio Emilia. Moreover, she used to be director of the Galeries Photo et numériques and of the photo collection of Fnac in Europe, Brazil and Taiwan. Laura wrote several books and cooperated with different cultural organisations (e.g. la Maison Européenne de la Photographie, l’Institut Italien de culture in Paris and the MAMM – Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow). She lives and works in Paris.
