(Milan, 1935 – January 18, 2016) He was the protagonist of Italian photography and visual communication scene for over fifty years. He alternated his work with a continuous research on historical images that produced memorable anthologies and exhibitions. In his photos, collected in the volumes Milano: Veduta Interna (Alinari, 1990), Life Size, Photos 1956-2006 (Ed. Imagna 2009) his main focus is on people and their role in contemporary society.
AIAP’s Vice President since 2009, architect and researcher in Industrial Design, she is a visual communication designer, researcher and lecturer in Palermo and Catania. She has curated, among the others, graphic projects for the UN, the Dutch Embassy, the Biondo Stabile Theater in Palermo, the Riso Regional Museum of Contemporary Art in Sicily, the Regional Province of Palermo. She writes essays in Italy and abroad, publishes volumes on design, curates and organizes conferences, exhibitions and workshops.
In 2004, after an experience in Milan, he returned to Sicily where he lives and works as a professional graphic designer. Since 2008 he has been responsible for the creative office of Caffè Moak, the year in which he collaborated with the Noorda studio for the redesign of the new brand and corporate identity. He founded, together with the marketing group For[me]moak, the in-house communication agency that deals with research and design and for which he is Art Director.
Believing the use of photography in visual communication to be indispensable, in 2014 he and the creative team created the international photography competition “Fuori Fuoco” for Moak.
In 2017, with a view to promoting the quality and research of visual communication projects related to the territory, he indexes with Moak together with Abadir and Aiap the competition “Sicilia Felicissima.”
He collaborates with ADI, has been a professional member of AIAP since 2010, and has been a professional member of ADCI since 2017.
She is photography editor for the Il Sole 24 Ore’s cultural supplement. Among the various initiatives, she curated the exhibition of “Imagina: Epoca’s Great Photographers Describe the World” (catalog by Leonardo Editore), and “Mauro Galligani, Soldier” (catalog by Peliti Associates). She wrote the travel book “Siberia for two. Mother and daughter along the Enisej”, (Feltrinelli), and the reportage “Lem. The Inititatory Journey of a Little Buddha” (Contrasto).
He was born in 1984. He graduated in Economics at the Catholic University of Milan but he has begun his career as a copywriter in Spain, at Bassat Ogilvy & Mather. He later returned to Italy, in Milan, to work at Saatchi & Saatchi and, in 2011, joined BBDO as a senior copywriter and supervisor. He won important national and international creativity prizes while working for clients such as Carrefour, P&G, Telecom, Nike, Rolling Stone Magazine, Sky, TIM and Mercedes Benz. In February 2014, he has been selected as Executive Board Member of the Italian Art Directors Club.
Born in Catania in 1958, he works as a professional photographer. He lives in Rome, where he teaches at IED. He has exhibited in various museums and galleries in Italy and abroad. In advertising, he has signed numerous business campaigns for firms such as Lavazza, IGP, Kodak, ENI, Milan Airports, Bosch, Alfa Romeo, A2A, Autostrada Pedemontana, Versace, Bisazza, Kartel, Conad, Unipol Bank.
His photographs have been published in all major international magazines. He has won four World Press Photo awards.
